THE EYE OF JUDGMENT RETURNS! - An Insider's Look at SET 3

EOJ Fans - As you may have discovered already, the wait is finally over. Set 3 is slated for an October 16th release on PSN giving players not just 100 new cards, but more gameplay options and features that will change the way EOJ is played.

Set Three Release Date: October 16th

The Eye of Judgment continues to expand. The revolutionary Eye-enabled card game will get its second expansion pack on October 16th. Biolith Rebellion Set 3 will add 100 new cards to EoJ. Once again, players will have to purchase the expansion on the PS Store, in addition to new cards that will make their way to retail stores.

With Biolith Rebellion Set 3, the total number of cards goes up to 310. Set 3 will also enable other content, such as XMB Trophy support, and a "set of new abilities that encourage more tactical playing based on creature formation." Set 3 will also add some background bonus material.

A race limit of 5 has been applied to Missionary cards.

On the Ranked Match, when a player disconnects after some turns during an online duel resulting in ending the game, a new system will grant points to their opponent whose duel was disconnected against their will.

I'm happy to report that I've finally had time to begin entering story, quotes, and abilities for all the set 2 cards. Fire and Water are done with the rest coming soon.

New Inventory Features

I've updated the inventory so that you can browse and search other user's shared inventories.

Official word on v2.01 update

As many of you have no doubt already heard, v2.01 update is coming soon and some cards will be tweaked in order to make the game more balanced. Thanks to the Playstation Blog, we now have an official statement on the update.

Here's what's coming:

• Additional Animation Settings
• Missionary (Zealot) cards and the Biolith Battleship will be errata'd to make them less powerful
• Rules for disconnectors will be updated (finally!)

Set 2: April 28

According to the Playstation Blog Set 2 will finally arrive in the USA on April 28th.

The update will be in the PSN store on April 24th.

Set 2 details updated

I just finished entering summoning cost, rarity, attack and defend patterns for ALL of the set 2 cards!

I've included a rough translation of the name of the card too, and the artwork will be coming later today. You'll have to wait for card text though.

59 Set 2 cards added

I've added information on 59 of the 100 set 2 cards I've collected from various sources.

My favorite so far is Biolith Temple.

Biolith Temple's Magic Attack targets all enemies of the same race as the target.

Each time an enemy is summoned, choose a creature from your graveyard that is not Ultra Rare, and shuffle it into your library.

Each time an allied Church of Parmus creature is summoned, you may choose a Church of Parmus creature from your graveyard that is not Ultra Rare, and return it to your hand.

If an allied Scion, Biolith Lord is on the board, you steal the exit mana of enemy creatures.

Hey guys,

Unfortunately, North America will not have EOJ cards in time for the 3/27 release (this does not affect our players in Japan or Europe). We'll keep you up to date on when and (more importantly) WHERE you can find the EOJ cards in the near future. Until then the download will not be available on the PlayStation Store in the US - sorry to disappoint. Stay tuned.

More Set 2 Information Revealed!

More Set 2 information has been revealed including details of some new abilities that will prove devastating to existing strategies!

How does this sound? While General Lug is on the board, creatures with Invisibility can be attacked as though they didn't have that ability.

Card Inventory and Trading

The Card Inventory now has a column for 'trade' which indicates you are willing to trade a card, and how many.

Deal This Deck

Want to play an offline game but don't want to bother shuffling your deck? Want to be sure you get a good shuffle every time?

Try the "deal this deck" link in the deck builder and deck browser -- save some time, trouble, and be sure your deck is REALLY shuffled.

Attack and Defense patterns

Attack and Defense patterns have been added for all cards.

You can now confirm the attack pattern for the phantom/betrayer cards, and even better, you can search for an attack or defense pattern by name. For example, try searching for 'lancer'

Card Inventory Sharable, Ratings, and Styles

Three updates today:

1) You can now share your card inventory with other users. For example, check out my current inventory.

2) As promised, the ratings widget is finished. If you're logged in, you can now rate user's decks in the deck browser. A deck will need to have at least three votes before a rating will appear so get rating!

3) When you select a style (by clicking a link in the upper right corner of any eojinfo.com page) your preference is saved.

So Finally the deck builder is online! Use it, abuse it, enjoy it. Let us know if you find any problems.

Card Artwork added!

If you take a look at the card or deck list in GUI mode, or the card details, you'll see some awesome artwork for each card!

For example, check out Great Minos of Sciondar



The images look best in Firefox and IE7. IE6 has a problem with transparency and PNG files...

Also, I've finally found some time to work on the deck builder, and it is now nearly complete! Let me know if you'd like to beta test it.

Eye of Judgment v1.02 Update

I'm a little late, but Eye of Judgment v1.02 update was released on December 20th. The big update? In a custom match, you can now create a private room.

Card Inventory is online

As you may have noticed from the menu, the Card Inventory option is now available.

You can use this feature to keep an online inventory of your cards. This will make it easy to see which cards you have (or which you are missing).

In the near future, you will be able to share your Card Inventory list with other users. The Card Inventory will also be used in the Deck Builder once it is available.
